Proposed changes in educational requirements to sit for CPA exam

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy has proposed expansion of required hours, both in accounting and in business, to sit for the CPA exam. Additionally, the hours required in accounting have become more specific, with special added emphasis on communication, ethics and research.
